Flip It // ʇı dı1ɟ

ʇxǝʇ pǝddı1ɟ oʇ pǝʇɐɔıpǝp sı ʇsod sıɥʇ

I have no idea how this works?
I think that it uses special characters, not a special font.
Flip it

"Basically, it uses letters that are 180° rotations of other letters to spell a sentence upside-down -- some letters are in the Latin alphabet (e.g. "u" and "n" are rotations, as are "p" and "d") while others are used by linguists to represent certain sounds, and were therefore included in Unicode."

Apollo11 Launch

Yeas I know 40 years and a week late.
I can't think of many other indistinguishable sounds like that of the Rocket Flames.

Corn growth

I planted a couple of seed packets in the back yard the first of April.
This grouping is from one seed packet. ( about 100 seeds)
About half of the seeds grew up to be plants large enough to produce ears of corn, and about half of those look like they will produce ears large enough to eat.
I picked one ear on July 4th in order to see how it was doing.
It was small, but otherwise perfect. The taste was great.
I couldn't find a gif creator online that would work for me with more than a few frames.
Next year, I'll plant more.

A Star is Born

I don't understand the physics behind it, but whenever you add Vanilla extract to milk, it expands out in the shape of a star.

Nestle recalls Toll House cookie dough products

Nestle is recalling some premade Cookie dough because of the fear of E-Coli.
Another reson why you should always make your Cookies from Scratch.

I'll continue to use Nestle Semi Sweet Morsels.

This Concept by a Canadian High school Student is detailed to the nines.
The Google Sketchup Blog notes:

You can read all about Eric in this Globe and Mail article from last week. You can even download his report as a full-color PDF. Congratulations Eric – maybe this isn't as far off as most people think.
